EU-made for a company based in Poland, I have had Osavi Omega-3 before. High strength at 1300mg, the 120 easy to swallow capsules arrived in a sealed **** topped plastic container with a long Best Before date of the end of September 2025. When considering Omega 3 supplements, I always look at the EPA and DHA levels they contain. These are very good. A two capsule serving - the pack should last around two months - contains a minimum 720mg EPA and 480mg DHA plus a minimum 100mg of 'other omega-3 acids'. These capsules are enhanced with natural lemon oil - to combat that fishy aftertaste. The fish oil they contain is sourced from pelagic fishes - that swim in the open ocean away from land. In this case, anchovies. Good quality and high potency, I like this GMO free supplement. In my view, it's well worth considering if you're after a high strength omega-3 in capsule form - and the price-point seems reasonable.

These are great value at £13.99 for 60 days supply for a fish oil supplement with such good levels of EPA and DHA. They are the standard (large!) size for fish oil capsules. The addition of lemon oil is really nice. There’s a fresh lemon scent when you open the bottle and a hint of lemon when you take them.

Osavi Omega-3 Extra 1300mg softgels contain concentrated and purified fish oil together with essential unsaturated fatty acids (DHA and EPA) giving cardiovascular and brain support. They’re enhanced with natural lemon flavour to reduce the fishy aftertaste and are free from sugar, lactose, gluten, soy, GMO and KETO. I normally take omega-3 as one of my daily supplements so don’t expect to see any noticeable change on my health while taking Osavi but the difference is the lemon flavour which smells quite pleasant and is different to other brands. The recommended dose is two capsules a day with food but as they’re large in size I’m taking one.

The capsules are typical size and easy enough to swallow. They include gelatine so they aren’t suitable for vegans and vegetarians plus the Omegas come from fish. You are getting 120 here and if you stick to the recommended serving size of 2, so they will last you 2 months. Each daily serving contains 480mg DHA and 730 mg EPA. This is what is essential in an omega-3 supplement and determines its strength, and it’s a very high dosage compared to my usual brand. I’m taking these for the general benefits that Omega 3 provides such as improving brain function, reducing inflammation in the joints, heart health, etc. It's difficult to say how much of an impact this is having on me because I do already have a consistently high intake of Omega 3 in my diet and through supplementation, but I have had positive effects on mood and inflammatory measures since taking Omega 3 supplements, which have not worsened since taking this particular supplement.

My partner and I have been taking Omega 3 supplements for many years and are convinced of the general health benefits. We have had Omega 3 capsules from Osavi before and they are very good in quality. These are strong as each capsule will deliver a minimum of 360mg of EPA and 240mg of DHA, so given that we also eat a healthy diet, one per day will be enough for us, although the recommended and maximum daily portion is two. These are made using fish oil and bovine gelatine so they will not be suitable for those who exclude fish and animal products from their diet. They include natural lemon flavouring which may help those who do not find fish oil very palatable or digestible. The pack contains 120 capsules which is 60 days supply at the maximum dosage. For this quality the price represents good value. Recommended.

I think this is a great omega-3 supplement. As with most fish oil capsules, they're not too big and are easy to swallow. With two capsules per day, this is a two-months supply. As the quantity of EPA and DHA is higher than usual, it makes this supplement worthwhile compared to cheaper fish oil.
