I am having to take Iron tablets every day and am finding good iron tablets that are also good for there money but l do know that solgar is a good name

Been using this for a couple of months now due to low iron in my blood tests and I feel much better but will take a few weeks to kick in but very good so far

I trust solgar so tried this but, as with many iron supplements, my guts didn't like it!

During lockdown due to contributing factors I was feeling tired and was quite ill, blood tests revealed my iron levels were extremely low and a same day' doctor (all phone appoinments) prescribed high level iron tablets from which I suffered an allergic reaction with swelling of my mouth (lips). The doctor stopped this treatment saying he would ring me a few days later, meanwhile I had sent for the Solgar Iron tablets as at 20mg much lower than the massive high dose I had been prescribed and felt I may not get a reaction. Thuis proved right and I took Solgar every day and within a week started feeling better and stronger a few weeks later scheduled blood tests found my Iron were almost normal. I reordered Solgar Iron tablets and continued and pleased to say my iron levels are back to full strength thanks to these tablets. I can only recommend them most highly, i had no adverse side effects, no constipation or reactions of any kind and I most certainly found these were as it described, very Gentle to take as well as extremely effective in restoring my Iron levels that were so low they had made me so tired and weak I was force to take to my bed for much of the time prior to taking Solgar. If you have low Iron I would recommend trying these first, with having so many makes brands etc, its difficult to know which may be best to choose but I found these perfect, especially after having had a reaction of lips swelling from those doctor prescribed tablets.

I've have had low iron levels and palpitations in the past so instead of going to my doctors and going through all that rigmarole I bought these to save the bother and they've changed my life. They started working after about a day on them my palpitations stopped and my energy levels increased dramatically and I'm also sleeping better..i recommend them strongly if you've a chance you might have low iron levels give these a try I'm sure you won't regret it..occasional black poo but that's ok i can live with that.
