The fillet of the Alaska pollock goes to the supermarket, and fish oil is made from the fillet trimmings. No additional fish is caught for this efficient method. With this, Arctic Blue has earned the strictest quality mark for fish oil: the blue MSC quality mark. In a modern facility in the US, the oil is purified and concentrated and care is taken to ensure that the fish oil retains its freshness (= low Totox value). Ich als Laie kann natĂŒrlich nicht ĂŒberprĂŒfen, ob die Angaben des Herstellers 100% stimmen, jedoch habe ich im Laufe der Jahre etliche OMEGA 3 Fischöl Produkte immer wieder mal probiert und jedes Mal bekam ich öliges fischiges aufstoßen. Dank Vine konnte ich Fischöl von diesem Hersteller "Arctic Blue" in der Flasche probieren oder hier diese Kapseln, ich habe kein aufstoßen mehr und mein Atem riecht auch nicht nach Fisch. Das ist ungelogen, das beste Fischöl, was ich je hatte, wenn es um das Aufstoßen geht oder dem Fischgeruch, nun muss man hoffen, dass die Angaben des Herstellers stimmen.

Gute Dosierung, hoher Preis, kein Laborbericht

Viele Anbieter werben mit einer hohen Dosierung und wenn man sich dann die Zusammensetzung anschaut, sieht man, dass dem nicht so ist und man in den meisten FĂ€llen mindestens drei Kapseln einnehmen muss, um den Tagesbedarf an EPA und DHA zu decken. Hier wird die Einnahme einer Kapsel am Tag empfohlen und das genĂŒgt auch. Die Deutsche Gesellschaft fĂŒr ErnĂ€hrung (DGE) empfiehlt nach wie vor, pro Tag je 250 mg DHA und EPA zu sich zu nehmen, um koronaren Herzerkrankungen vorzubeugen. Diesen Bedarf deckt man hier schon mit nur einer einzigen Kapsel, die laut Angaben 400 mg DHA und 250 mg EPA enthĂ€lt. Nimmt man nur eine Kapsel am Tag ein, hĂ€lt der Vorrat fĂŒr 60 Tage. DafĂŒr finde ich den aktuellen Preis in Höhe von knapp 25 € ziemlich hoch, wenn ich ihn mit anderen Angeboten vergleiche. Das Fischöl stammt laut Packung und Überschrift der Produktbeschreibung von Alaska-Seelachsen, im Text der Produktbeschreibung steht jedoch: "aus arktischem Wildkabeljau", was ein Dorsch wĂ€re. Was hier stimmt, kann man sich scheinbar aussuchen. Einen einsehbaren Laborbericht ĂŒber die Untersuchung auf Schadstoffe vermisse ich hier leider, das ist bei anderen Anbietern ĂŒblich.
